The Family and Pastoral Center (FPC) serves as a place ofcommunity and strength, where families affected by incarceration and othersocial factors, can find hope, solace, friendship, and various support.

Abraham House is designed to care for individuals with a terminal diagnosis who have reached the end of curative therapy options, are seeking comfort care at the end of life, and need around the clock supervision. Guests of Abraham House have typically received a prognosis of 3 months or less. We welcome all individuals regardless of diagnosis, gender, religion, race or financial status. Our social model hospice homes are community-supported homes providing 24-hour care for terminally ill individuals and their loved ones, when dying at home becomes unmanageable.

Terminal illness does not discriminate against race, ethnicity, age, religion, gender, or socio economic status and neither do we. Our admissions are based purely on level of need, and we open our homes and our arms to anyone with a terminal diagnosis and a prognosis of 3 months or less. Most of our guests have wonderful, supportive, loving and present family members. But because we serve guests and families without charge, we're often the only option for those who live alone, lack family support, are homeless, or lack the resources to pay for skilled nursing or private care facilities.
Please consult your own legal, accounting, estate, and other professional advisors as you consider options for giving to Abraham House. We feel privileged that you are interested in supporting the loving care we give to the terminally ill. Family members are allowed to visit 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The only time that visitation would be limited is with family consent in the event that our guests become overwhelmed or exhausted. Again, our main goal is the comfort and dignity of our guests.
